San Luis to Mendoza

Sh0rt entry today – nothing much to report other than an amazingly straight road out of San Luis. Looks like the autopista is being extended into Mendoza state, but it’s all full of roadworks at the moment. But they’re well managed and don’t hold me up for long, despite being tens of km long!

Arriving in Mendoza it seems much busier, and it’s harder to find a hostel. Damijuanas looks good but is full, Lao is full and is also full of dogs in the reception 🙁 so I end up at Itaka Hostel. It’s a bit of a party hostel but not too bad, although the kitchen is clearly designed to discourage you from using it and going to the  onsite cafe instead!
